Celebrating parents event
About 750 parents, carers and their children from across Camden attended the annual Celebrating Parents family fun and information extravaganza at Haverstock School on Saturday (24 October).
Attractions at the free event included music, dance, crafts, bouncy castles, table tennis, football, climbing wall, performances, face-painting, clowns, fun bike skills sessions, baby massage, reflexology and massage for parents, soft play and storytelling in early years room and much more.
The event, at Haverstock School in Chalk Farm, was organised and run by Camden Parent Council, parent volunteers and young people, supported by staff from the Council's children, schools and families department.
The theme this year was ‘Bouncing Back - Resilience in Camden', helping families to face challenges in their lives with confidence.
