Camden’s community toilet scheme is live

We have set up a community toilet scheme whereby local businesses and other organisations can support the community by allowing the public to use their toilets during normal opening hours.

The Council pays an annual fee to members of up to £750 (including VAT), and promotes the business or organisation locally and online. The scheme is part of our cost-effective solution to the need for public toilets in the borough.

The scheme has 12 members at present. We are still keen to recruit more, particularly in Kilburn and Kentish Town, and the areas in and around West End Lane, South End Green and Pond Square.

If you might be interested in joining the scheme and would like to know more, please email [email protected] or call James Dunlop on 020 7974 7141. Membership of the scheme depends on criteria including what is needed in your area, your opening hours and your facilities.
