Camden 2025: Be a part of Camden's future – join the conversations now

We’re creating a plan for the borough, which the council, local organisations, community groups and residents can work towards to make Camden a better place for everyone to live by 2025.

Camden’s future belongs to us all, so we want to make sure everyone can have a say in what our priorities are over the coming years.

Now is your chance to make a real difference to how we do things in the future. We want to hear what makes Camden great, but also what the challenges are, and your ideas for how we could start to tackle these challenges together.

Conversations have already begun across the borough. Along with speaking with local residents and community groups, we’ve put together the Citizens’ Assembly. The Assembly is a group of around 70 residents, including those who don’t normally get involved in council activities, who are meeting to discuss some of Camden's strengths and challenges in depth. Setting up the Assembly is just one way of looking at how we can bring residents closer to decision-making in Camden.

How can I get involved?

What do you want Camden to be like in 2025? Visit our Camden 2025 website to join in and answer some of the questions that have come out of conversations so far. Share your thoughts and ideas, and see what others are talking about – you lead the discussions.

What happens next?

Early next year, we will take stock of everyone’s feedback and the direction of discussions. Your views will be given to elected councillors who will use these to shape the direction of the borough for the next seven years, from 2018 to 2025.
